Ingredients:
1kg boneless pork neck or pork shoulder
4 buns or rolls with seeds
4 eggs
3 shallots or 1 onion
3 garlic cloves
1 chilli pepper
3 salat leaves
4 spoons BBQ sauce
¼ red pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
salt
50ml Whiskey
8 peppercorns
1kg boneless pork neck or pork shoulder
4 buns or rolls with seeds
4 eggs
3 shallots or 1 onion
3 garlic cloves
1 chilli pepper
3 salat leaves
4 spoons BBQ sauce
¼ red pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
salt
50ml Whiskey
8 peppercorns
Method:
- Rinse the meat and dry it with a paper towel. Rub the dry spices into the meat and roast it quickly on high temperature from all sides.
- Add Whiskey and wait till the pieces of meat stuck on the bottom of the pan come off.
- Remove from the heat. Place the finely chopped vegetables under the meat.
- Coat the meat with the BBQ sauce and add a bit of water (just to cover the bottom of the pan)
- Cover the pan and place it in the oven. Bake for 5 hours at 140°C.
- The meat is done, when it goes easily apart as you stick a fork into it. Shred and pull the meat apart with a fork into small chunks, then stir it with vegetables and sauce. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes in a covered pan, for the flavours to combine.
- Fry the eggs in a bit of oil/fat. The egg white should be white and firm, the edge and the bottom of the egg golden and crusty, and the egg yolk should be soft and a bit runny.
- Chop the salat into noodles.
- Half the burger buns and roast the inner sides in fat left from fried eggs.
- Fill the buns with pulled pork mixed with vegetables, add fresh salat and top it with a fried egg.
